Cabbage and Apple Salad

Oct 24, 2019 | Sides

This cabbage and apple salad is my go-to salad because it’s easy to make and can last for a few days in the fridge. I can make it on Monday and eat it throughout the week. It perfectly pairs with sandwiches, chicken dishes, or on its own. I use both green and red cabbage to keep it pretty but this recipe works the same with just one cabbage type.

For me, when it comes to a salad, it’s all about the dressing. It serves as a unifier between all the ingredients. For a this apple and cabbage salad the dressing is slightly sweetened by honey yet the fresh grated ginger and chili garlic sauce add a little spice. It has a nice balance of sweet and spicy but doesn’t overpower the salad ingredients. Enjoy!
