Tomato Basil Bagel

INGREDIENTS
1 Bagel (everything bagel works nicely)
1 tsp Olive Oil
3 tbsp Cream Cheese
6 Tomato slices
1 dash Salt and Pepper
1 tbsp Basil, fresh, chopped
DIRECTIONS

Toast your bagel to your liking. While toasting, slice the tomato and chop the basil.

Once the bagel is done toasting, use a butter knife to pierce the top of the bagel to allow areas for the olive oil to soak in. Gently pour the olive oil on the bagel slices (this replaces buttering the bagel—it's my opinion that all bread products need a fat first before putting anything else on).

Spread the cream cheese. Top with sliced tomatoes and sprinkle with salt, pepper and chopped basil. Enjoy!
